Getting started with Pounce

What Pounce does

Pounce watches X and Reddit in real time for conversations your future customers are already having, filters out the noise, and hands you a queue of posts worth replying to, with a draft reply written in your voice. You review each one, tweak it if you like, and send. That is the whole loop: 15 minutes a day, a handful of great conversations, repeated.

Every new account starts with free credits and no card required, which is enough to run a real session and see if Pounce clicks for you.

Step 1: Connect an account

Connect your X or Reddit account (or both) when prompted after signup. Pounce uses the platform’s official sign-in, so you never share your password with us.

Pounce never posts without you

Connecting an account lets Pounce read public posts and prepare replies. Nothing is ever published unless you press the final button yourself. See how replies get posted for the details.

Step 2: Tell Pounce what to look for

The setup wizard asks two things: what you are building, and who you want to reach. If you would rather not write it out, the “Think for me” option drafts it from your profile.

From that, Pounce generates your monitoring strategy: what conversations to look for, search rules (on X) or subreddits (on Reddit), and an AI filter that decides which posts are actually worth your time. You get a preview of real matching posts before you finish, so you can see exactly what your inbox will look like. You can refine all of this later, so do not worry about getting it perfect on day one.

Step 3: Run your first lightning round

Press start on the Session page. Pounce begins scanning live, and matching posts stream into your inbox one at a time, freshest first. For each one you can reply, pass, or take other actions like liking or following.

A good first session looks like this:

Read the post. If it is not a fit, hit Pass and move on
If it is a fit, read the drafted reply, edit it until it sounds like you, and send
Repeat until the timer or your energy runs out

Do not aim for volume. Five thoughtful replies beat twenty rushed ones, and the AI filter learns from what you pass on.
