How lightning rounds work

What a lightning round is
A lightning round is a live, timed session. While it runs, Pounce scans X and Reddit in real time, filters what it finds against your strategy, and streams the matches into your inbox. You work through them one at a time. When you stop, Pounce stops scanning.
This is the opposite of a scheduler: everything in your inbox is happening right now, which is exactly why replying works so well. You are often the first useful reply on a post.
Starting a session
From the Session page, pick which campaign to run and which networks to scan (X, Reddit, or both), then press start. You need a small credit balance to begin; see how credits work for what sessions cost.
Posts arrive scored and sorted, freshest and most promising first. If two posts from the same author arrive close together, Pounce groups them so you can handle them as one.
Pausing and stopping
You can pause a session at any time and resume when you are back. A few things also happen automatically:
- If you go idle for about five minutes, the session pauses itself so you do not burn credits while away
- A session that stays paused for a while stops on its own
- Sessions have a maximum length of one hour; start a fresh one any time
- If your credits run out mid-session, the session pauses and you can top up to continue
On paid plans you can keep replying to items already in your inbox while the session is paused. Scanning for new posts only happens while the session is live.
What happens to posts you did not get to
Posts you replied to or passed on are done: they will not come back. Anything you did not get to carries forward into your next session, as long as it is still fresh. Posts older than a day drop off automatically, because a late reply to a fast-moving conversation rarely lands.
After you stop, Pounce shows a short summary of the round. Every reply you sent is always available later in your Log, and your session history lives on the Stats page.
