Connecting your X and Reddit accounts

Last updated July 26, 2026

Connecting an account

Go to Settings, open Account, and choose Connect next to X or Reddit. You will be sent to the platform’s official sign-in page and back; Pounce never sees your password. When you connect an X account, Pounce also studies your recent posts in the background to learn how you write, so drafts sound like you from the start.

How many accounts you can connect

Every plan includes one X account and one Reddit account. Hunter raises the ceiling to five connected accounts in any mix, and Apex to ten, which is useful if you run a personal account alongside a brand account, or manage several products. See plans and billing for the full comparison.

With multiple accounts connected, each campaign chooses which account it acts as, so a session for your developer-tools campaign can reply from your personal account while your agency campaign replies from the brand. See campaigns and strategy.

When a connection expires

Platform logins expire from time to time; that is normal. When it happens, Pounce shows a banner in the app and pauses monitoring for that account until you reconnect, so you never miss conversations silently. Reconnecting takes one tap from the banner or from Settings under Account.

Reconnecting is also the fix if a feature that needs extra permissions, like sending DMs on X, shows up as unavailable: the fresh sign-in grants the missing access.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect any account from Settings under Account. Your history, sent replies, and stats stay intact; Pounce just stops monitoring and acting for that account. You can also revoke Pounce’s access directly from X or Reddit’s own settings at any time.
